How do I open a PurePoint savings account or a Certificate of Deposit (CD)?
It’s simple to open a savings account or CD online, by phone or in person at any of our convenient Financial Centers.

What is the minimum deposit to open a savings or CD account?
PurePoint accounts require a minimum opening deposit of $10,000.
How do I fund my PurePoint savings or CD account?
You can conveniently fund your PurePoint account(s) with an online funds transfer, mobile deposit, wire transfer or by mailing us a check. For CD accounts, you can only make a deposit when you open the account.

Online funds transfer:
You can fund your account by linking it to your checking or savings account at another U.S. financial institution, then making an online transfer into your PurePoint account. (You’ll need the routing number and account number of the account from which you’re transferring funds.)
Sign in to Online Banking, select Deposit and follow the instructions to complete a Mobile Deposit.
Here’s the information you’ll need to provide to the U.S. bank that will make a wire transfer into your PurePoint account. (Please note that we accept domestic wires in U.S. funds only; international wires are prohibited.)

Mailing a check:
1) Write a check, payable to yourself, from your existing checking account at another financial institution (U.S. banks only; no foreign checks) and sign it.
2) Endorse the back of the check with your signature, and write in “For Deposit Only to PurePoint Financial” and your PurePoint Financial account number.
3) For standard and certified U.S. postal mail delivery, send check to:

Is instant verification secure when I open an account?
Your privacy and security are extremely important to us, so we protect your login credentials using 128-bit level encryption. Your external bank’s log in information is only used once to verify that you own the account. PurePoint will never use this information again.
